About the Musician Harold "Marty" Henry, Jr. is a Los Angeles native who always had a passion for music. At age 4, he started playing the piano and took lessons on and off. He became more active with music during high school, from performing in the school ensembles to writing song lyrics. It was then when Marty started making beats and learn how to produce music. The summer after graduating high school, he interned at Capitol Records, where he experienced the creative and business sides of the music industry. Marty attended Morehouse College, graduating Magna Cum Laude honors as a Phi Beta Kappa inductee. During his collegiate career he has applied his musical abilities to numerous activities, from playing lead pianist in the Morehouse College Jazz Ensemble to scoring for student films and special events on campus. Marty is currently working on different projects in film and music with hopes of making an impact on the listeners.
